Just weeks after introducing the mid-range Grotto Series, MartinLogan, a renowned premium audio brand, has unveiled its latest innovation in the world of subwoofers: the Depth 212 and Depth 215. These subwoofers boast an impressive bass extension of 18Hz, a feat that will surely shake the ground beneath your feet.
The Depth Series represents a complete redesign of MartinLogan's previous flagship BalancedForce subwoofers, showcasing the brand's commitment to pushing the boundaries of audio technology.
At the heart of these new models lies MartinLogan's signature BalancedForce design, featuring dual-opposed active drivers. The Depth 212 is equipped with 12-inch woofers, while the Depth 215 takes it a step further with 15-inch woofers, ensuring a powerful and controlled bass response.
One of the key innovations is the Carbon Aerocore cone technology, a tri-layer composite made of carbon fibre, PMI foam, and fibreglass. This cutting-edge material delivers exceptional strength without adding unnecessary mass, resulting in a lightweight yet robust subwoofer.
