When Does the Combine Happen?
The NFL Scouting Combine runs from February 23 to March 1, but don’t expect to see on-field workouts until Thursday, February 26. Before that, it’s all about team interviews, media scrums, and medical evaluations. This year’s schedule is grouped by position: kickers, defensive linemen, and linebackers kick things off, followed by defensive backs and tight ends, then running backs, wide receivers, and quarterbacks, with offensive linemen closing out the event.
Who’s Participating?
Over 300 players have been invited to the Combine, though not all will take to the field. Most prospects will showcase their skills, except for those projected at the top of the first round. For the full list of attendees, check out the official NFL Combine roster here.
Controversial Question: Is the Combine Still the Best Predictor of NFL Success?
Here’s a thought: With the rise of college game film and advanced analytics, does the Combine still hold the same weight it once did? Or is it becoming more of a spectacle than a serious evaluation tool? Let us know your take in the comments—we’re eager to hear your perspective!
